about

Two ghost stories by Kitchen Cynics & Grey Malkin, the second in a series of infrequent, supernatural 7”s. Powis House was a mansion in Aberdeen belonging to the Leslie family, which came into council ownership in the early 20th century. The land became a housing estate in the 1930s, and the house is now a community centre. Local people have reported seeing the ghost of a lady in a room filled with unearthly blue light. ‘Willow Do Walk’ is inspired by the short story ‘The Willows’ by Algernon Blackwood.

Originally released as a lathe cut vinyl 7" single on Future Grave/Reverb Worship, cut by Bladud Flies!

about

The Hare And The Moon Scotland, UK

The Hare And The Moon existed between 2009 and early 2017 and are now as ghosts. When they did they liked to throw their love of MR James, Arthur Machen, ghost stories, Black Sabbath, Pentangle and The Wicker Man into their cauldron and give it a good stir. ... more
